Power – when that word comes into play, what is the first thing that comes into your mind? Power is a word that can define what a human being is. In other words, a person with power can both be a negative and a positive trait.
A powerful person can be a person who can control a multitude to do good and of course to do not-so-good things. An example of a powerful person is Adolf Hitler. Sure, he’s not that powerful but hey, controlling a whole country to eliminate millions of Jews is not that of a big deal, right?
There are almost 8 billion people living in our planet and most of these people are the common people that we see roaming in the streets. But in this article, we will be giving you a list of the ten most powerful people in the world last 2016.
It was then decided to categorize these people based on these:
- Whether the candidate has power over lots of people
- Financial resources controlled by each person
- Actively using their power
- Powerful in multiple spheres
10. Mark Zuckerberg
As we all know, Mark Zuckerberg is the rightful founder and CEO of the worldly known Facebook. With this he is number ten on our list. Considering the fact that he can have a view of all of our accesses, he does not do it so we can say that he is a pretty good guy.
9. Narendra Modi
Most of us do not know who Mr. Modi is. So for those of you who do not know, he is currently the 14th Prime Minister of one of the most populated and most powerful countries in terms of culture, connection, and number – India. He was also the Chief Prime Minister of Gujarat from 2001 – 2004 and he is a member of Parliament of Varnasi.

We know Larry as one of the co-founders of Google but aside from that, he is also the President of Google’s parent company which is Alphabet Inc. Alphabet is just a multinational conglomerate which he, together with Sergey Brin founded in 2015. The 2nd to the most powerful woman in this list is the American economist. She is also the Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRS). She has also written books that you should start researching for because with her lessons, you can change your life.

Pope Francis or Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church in March 2013. A sovereign of the Vatican City and ex officio as Bishop of Rome. Pope Francis is not someone you want to mess with especially since he can control the faith we have in us since he represents the Lord amongst us dwelling in this earth.

He has pushed through in exerting the fullest effort in influencing almost every corner of the globe of Russia. He continues to get what he wants and I can see that this will continue on.
